For our cPanel hosting servers, the mail server setting for incoming and outgoing mail is always set to mail.yourdomainname.com, providing you are using ComNetHosting's nameservers and haven't changed the DNS (Domain Name Server) records for mail.
If you haven't switched to using our nameservers, you can always use the server hostname, but note that this won't follow your domain should you make a switch in the future
The username to use to access an email account is simply the full email address that you are trying to access. e.g. user@example.com
The password will be the password you selected when you created the mail box.
If you're not sure what this is, you can reset it by:
- Logging into the cPanel control panel for your hosting package
- ComNetHosting Login: https://comnethosting.com/clientarea.php
- Navigate to Services => My Services
- Select Your Package
- Click on "Login to cPanel"
- Clicking "Email Accounts" to see an overview of all mailboxes on your account
- Select "Manage" next to the account you want to change
- In the "New Password" field you can either set your own or use the built in password generator to create a secure password
- Scroll down to click "Update Email Settings".
Note: As soon as you submit these details any devices that have the old details will become invalid and using the wrong details may trigger the firewall and block you from the server
